Transistor frequency converter has been made for Řetězárna Česká Třebová s.r.o.. Together with three-phase separating transformer and the load of oscillatory circuit, which is induction heater SOP 700/5-A130, it is used for induction heating of metal materials.
Transistor frequency converter consists of input power circuit breaker, controlled rectifier, smoothing choke, current inverter, and overvoltage protections. The operation of the frequency converter is ensured by operating system consisting of regulator, converters and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Internal water cooling system is used for cooling electronic and other parts of power circuits of frequency converter.
