Thyristor frequency converter has been made for ZVS HOLDING, a.s., Snina in Slovakia. Together with three-phase separating transformer and the load of a parallel oscillatory circuit for supplying power to an inductive heater.
Thyristor frequency converter consists of input power circuit breaker, controlled rectifier, smoothing choke, current inverter, and overvoltage protections. The operation of the frequency converter is ensured by operating system consisting of regulator, converters and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Internal water cooling system is used for cooling electronic and other parts of power circuits of frequency converter. Connecting the powered circuits is done from the top.
