On the occasion of the recent visit of Czech Prime Minister Petr Nečas in Russia the management of ROBOTERM Ltd. Chotěboř together with statutory representatives of Czech company ŠMERAL Brno and Russian company Reltek Yekaterinburg Ltd. signed basic documents establishing the joint venture. The purpose of the new established joint venture in Yekaterinburg is to produce complete production lines for hot metal forming and to deliver them to the markets of the former Soviet Union. Since the Russian government and universally all governments of the countries of the former Soviet Union adopted strict measures to support their domestic market, which severely restricts the import of technological units, this form of cooperation seems to be one of few options on how to still successfully operate on these eastern markets.
The contractors declared their readiness to deliver the latest heating and forging technology to the forges of the former Soviet Union countries. This technology will be fully competitive in the world. In case of ROBOTERM Ltd. it especially means the delivery of induction heaters series KSO and SOP and frequency convertes series TMK and TRMK.
Besides the Czech Prime Minister, at the signing were present among others: Martin Kuba, Minister of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Hanak, President of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic, Karel Borůvka, Consul General in Yekaterinburg and Denis Vladimirovič Pasler, Prime Minister of the Sverdlovsk Region.
